From family company to market leader – nothing impresses more than success. Since its foundation as a humble forge of ball bearing turntables in 1952, JOST has established itself as a global market leader in the production of systems, modules and components for commercial vehicles.

Founded as a factory for ball-bearing turntables in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt.

1956

JOST starts to produce fifth wheels.

1960

Name changed to JOST-Werke GmbH (company with limited liability).
